Christine Speerin is an Internationally Certified Master Groomer (ICMG) who has enjoyed a 30 year career in the dog grooming industry. Since competing in “Groomalong”, the first grooming competition held in Australia in 1992, she has been a consistent winner of grooming contests throughout Australia. Upon retiring from competition, her focus has been on judging. Christine was a member of the inaugural Australian Groom Team that competed in the 2009 World Grooming Titles in Germany and was the first Australian groomer to become an International judge for IJA ( International Judges Association ) in 2010. She regularly holds workshops and seminars in the USA, South Korea and Australia.
As well as her outstanding grooming credentials, Christine has always had a passion for dog breeding, and is well known in the show ring for her award winning Likren Brittanys. She was responsible for breeding some of Australia’s best Brittanys in the late 1990s, and these lines are still consistently winning in the conformation ring.
Christine’s enthusiasm for the grooming industry, combined with her depth of knowledge and peerless reputation, has drawn many new people to the industry and developed a wide network of friendships within the global grooming community.
